Mayorga Converts Operations to 100% Wind Power

Mayorga Coffee, LLC is proud to announce that it has converted 100% of its manufacturing and corporate-owned retail stores’ energy consumption to Wind Power through a strategic alliance with Clean Energy Currents.

“The transition of our manufacturing operations into 100% wind power is just another step in our continued efforts to a model of true sustainability,” states Martin Mayorga, President and Founder of Mayorga Coffee. “Our incredible growth in the last few years continually allows us opportunities to make positive changes in our operations.” he continued. “The transition doesn’t stop here. We’re committed to transitioning all Mayorga owned-and-operated stores to wind power before the end of 2011. We are also working on other exciting changes to our operations that are in line with our core beliefs as world citizens. “

Mayorga Coffee also works daily to promote sustainable practices in their operations through the recycling of natural by-products like burlap and chaff that can be used by locals in their gardens. Both items are free and available for pickup at our warehouse in Rockville, MD.
