23 years ago a small group of farmers decided to organize a cooperative as a means to improve its opportunities and to face the difficulties in marketing its products and the acquisition of agricultural supplies.
The Siguatepeque Coffee Cooperative, identified by the brand COHORSIL, has been positioned as a company that bases its business on the quality of its products and processes, along with the focus on the betterment of the standard of living for its farmers and their employees.

“Sports for the Future”
For social and many economic reasons, the children and the teenagers of Honduras don't have as many opportunities as in other countries. This can cause young people to make decitions that put them in legal problems as an alternative, the COHORSIL cooperative has built soccer fields in front of its facilities to provide young people a healthy, positive option to prevent them from entering gangs and violent activities.

Hospital Evangelico Mobile Clinic
Provides health care to the communities that have been denied access to public or private health service for reasons of poverty and/or lack of communication and roads. Every morning a specially-adapted vehicle leaves the facilities of the Hospital equipped with medicines, equipment and supplies, along with specially rained field doctors, nurses, and dentists.
